Randy has spent over 20 years dedicated to physical education and sport and fitness training. He has an extensive knowledge in exercise physiology, fitness testing protocols, kinetic chain assessment, and sport/ athletic performance training.
Randy is experienced in promoting exercise weight programs that concentrate on joint structure and muscle function, injury prevention, plyometrics, and speed and strength training techniques. Randy's background includes 10 years as a physical education teacher, 16 years as a personal trainer, and 3 years as director of Velocity Sports Performance and Fitness Training facility. He has established both group and individual fitness programs for adults, youths, and seniors, as well as sport performance training programs for athletes that focus on speed, strength/ power, quickness, and injury prevention. Randy has presented Integrated Training, Stability, and Strength and Conditioning Seminars for coaches and various School Districts. He has been published multiple times in Health & Fitness Magazine, including articles based on sport specific training, flexibility, and corrective exercise techniques.


sharyn small webSharyn Carpenter is the Marketing Manager for RBX Cross Training and is a Certified Personal Trainer (AFAA). She is also certified in kickboxing (AFAA). Her goals with clients is to help them develop an exercise plant that fits into their lifestyle. Sharyn believes that fitness and well being need to be a habit. She has trained with Randy Brandt since 2001 and has followed him from a local health club to a national sports training facility and now to his own training studio. In the beginning Randy designed a workout program that enabled Sharyn to lose over 60 lbs after the birth of my second child. Improvements in physical health have enabled Sharyn to compete in various competitions and marathons. Even though she has been training with Randy for quite a while, his workouts continue to be challenging, exciting, innovative and never boring. Sharyn has a B.S. degree in Education from Stephen F. Austin State University and is married with two children.



melissa smallMelissa Haught is the Webmaster for RBX Cross Training. She has trained with Randy over the past ten years. She began my training with Randy as an inexperienced athlete and have since learned proper form and technique. Over the past ten years she has learned many new exercises and says she is never bored with the variety taught. Melissa is currently the Classification Manager at a large oil and gas distribution company in Houston. Melissa has a BS in Informatin Systems and a Master’s of Science in Project Management. She is married with two children.
